Kingdom Hearts: Eternal Fate (A Kingdom Hearts fan fiction project) started out as a conversation between us (Courtney and Cait) one day in our homeschool drama class. We were both big fans of Kingdom Hearts, which is actually what started our friendship, and together we came up with an idea so that our two characters could be in a story together...

...and now, years later, the story has gone through many drafts, titles, plots and characters finally settling on what you read now. Karen was created by Courtney and Emi was created by me. We worked together to make the plot, spending hours combing through Kingdom Hearts information to make sure that every detail was as close to game canon as possible. Slumber parties, frantic phone calls and hours long IM sessions have given birth to this story.We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
